Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Soza's Francisco Nogueira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Clareanes's Gil Lima got a free kick in the 15th minute. Álvaro Queirós was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emanuel Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Joel Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clareanes's Cristiano Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Cabral's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Cristiano Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Gueifão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Afonso Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Soza's goalkeeper Joel Gueifão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristiano Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Cristiano Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Afonso Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Neves having to interfere. João Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 55th match minute, Clareanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Lima to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Neves having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Cristiano Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Gueifão. SC Soza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cristiano Viana scored 2-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Gueifão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonso Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. When SC Soza's Afonso Ferreira in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Nogueira in the 95th minute of play forced Clareanes's goalkeeper João Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Clareanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Lima to maneuver through the defense.
