After having played for 6 minutes, Pedro Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Escadabouca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Emanuel Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arufe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Escadabouca the free kick. Emanuel Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Lucas Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Pedro Pires shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Gaspar Ferro and just under the crossbar into goal. Amílcar Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Silva in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, SC Escadabouca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Silva struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute, Emanuel Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Magalhães having to interfere. Amílcar Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
Amílcar Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Andrade in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Andrade in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílcar Magalhães saved SC Escadabouca from getting behind. Amílcar Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Tiago Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Escadabouca's protests and gave Tiago Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes SC Escadabouca got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Antunes. But to his dismay, Humberto Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Coelho in the 89th minute of play forced SC Escadabouca's goalkeeper Amílcar Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Humberto Andrade put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amílcar Magalhães. Arufe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
