Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Creixomil's Cândido Amaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Figueiredo having to interfere. When Cândido Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Creixomil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Amaro couldn't finish the play. Penoucos's José Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Amaro in the 76th minute of play. If Cândido Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Creixomil's Cândido Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bernardo Anjos fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creixomil's protests and gave Bernardo Anjos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Bernardo Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes Creixomil's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albertino Freitas who took care of the corner kick. Albertino Freitas made a great header on Penoucos's corner, it was just that Creixomil's Filipe Dantas managed to reach the ball for a save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
