Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Henriques made the kick off which started today's match. SC Atei's Bernardo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Monteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mário Cunha. Provesende's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Armindo Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armindo Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mário Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Provesende's Mário Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Magalhães in the 29th minute of play. Gonçalo Fontes's late challenge caught a SC Atei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Gonçalo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Oliveira, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 38th minute Armindo Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Adolfo Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Atei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Jorge Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mariano Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cristóvão Nascimento sent off a good shot on target.

Armindo Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Cunha having to interfere. If Adolfo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Pacheco came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Provesende's Cristóvão Nascimento. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Armindo Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Magalhães in the 74th minute of play. Provesende's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Armindo Magalhães 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Mário Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Leal in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Armindo Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Atei's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes, Afonso Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Atei and the Provesende players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Afonso Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Atei's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
