With a little luck, SC Pampilhosa's Filipe Simões got control of the ball when Diogo Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Leite in the 89th minute of play forced SC Penaceira's goalkeeper André Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Diogo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
