Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Fontes made the kick off which started today's match. José Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Ventoso FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Aranhas:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for SC Aranhas. Mariano Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving António Barbosa. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ventoso FC's zone, José Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Barbosa came out of the goal and José Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Luís Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Aranhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Leiria hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Luís Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. António Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that José Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Barbosa was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Fernando Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ventoso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Dantas couldn't finish the play. When Eusébio Leite fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Aranhas's protests and gave Eusébio Leite a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Aranhas's Eusébio Leite got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Luís Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SC Aranhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fontes couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, André Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fernando Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Coelho hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sebastião Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Pires in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes SC Aranhas got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Coelho. If Sebastião Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Aranhas's Luís Fontes in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ventoso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastião Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Soares having to interfere. Sebastião Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Sebastião Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Aranhas's Augusto Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ventoso FC's António Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fontes in the 92nd minute of play. António Barbosa was a little too slow when Luís Fontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Magalhães got free with António Barbosa in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
