Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Fontes made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute Adolfo Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Teixeira, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alberto Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Nascimento having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, SC Irivo's Júlio Faro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augusto Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. SC Irivo's Alberto Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fontes in the 35th minute of play. José Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Nascimento having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, SC Irivo's goalkeeper Alberto Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fontes. 41 minutes into the match, Júlio Faro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SC Aranhas's Augusto Soares. Augusto Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Adolfo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Faro in the 46th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Faro in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Leite during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Aranhas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eusébio Leite hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Luís Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 72 minutes into the game, SC Aranhas's Luís Fontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Adolfo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Irivo's Eduardo Cruz got a free kick in the 79th minute. José Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Nascimento having to interfere. If Adolfo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fontes in the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Irivo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Aranhas.
