Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heitor Torres kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Espariz got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Torres. With a little luck, SC Lardosa's Jorge Martins got control of the ball when Alexandre Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes in the game, Heitor Torres fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jorge Martins having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Humberto Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lardosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espariz the free kick. In the 14th minute, Humberto Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heitor Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alexandre Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jorge Martins made a huge save. After 36 minutes of play, SC Lardosa's Cândido Baptista made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Baptista in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Álvaro Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Alexandre Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Lardosa's Jorge Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Torres in the 62nd minute of play. Jorge Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Torres in the 73rd minute of play. Mariano Baptista hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Fernando Jesus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Espariz's Rui Maia didn't even have to move. Mariano Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jorge Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SC Lardosa's Rui Maia threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Maia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Espariz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
