Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) António Rodrigues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Setúbal in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Altares's zone, Jorge Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Queirós came out of the goal and Jorge Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Marco Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Luís Pinto made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SC Sejaes's Sandro Santos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Marco Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Soares in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Rodrigues in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Pinto saved SC Sejaes from getting behind. A collision led to SC Sejaes getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lucas Carneiro hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, SC Sejaes's goalkeeper Luís Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Anjos. Luís Pinto had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when António Rodrigues from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 38 minutes, Delfim Moutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altares and the SC Sejaes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Altares getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Delfim Moutinho hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes SC Sejaes got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Pinto. 44 minutes into the match, Altares's Alexandre Fernandes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If André Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Soares to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as David Soares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Queirós. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. António Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marco Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, SC Sejaes's David Soares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Queirós. Marco Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Altares's Marco Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Altares from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Sejaes's David Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Queirós. That made the score 1-4 after 75 minutes of play. Marco Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Soares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Altares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. António Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Pinto having to interfere. António Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Sejaes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
