If Pedro Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Seroa FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Leal. Armando Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Almeida having to interfere. If Jorge Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Rui Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nadais and the Seroa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Nadais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Costa to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eusébio Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Seroa FC booed when Nadais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nadais getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rafael Brás hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Abel Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ferreira in the 38th minute of play. Eusébio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With 44 minutes on the clock, Nuno Sá commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Nadais:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Seroa FC:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Daniel Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Matias in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Nadais's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Matias came free, but Eusébio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Matias took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Ramos. Eusébio Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 80th minute, Jorge Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nadais's Pedro Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Matias's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seroa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nadais had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
