Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Artur Pereira kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Filipe Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzinho the free kick. After 4 played minutes Mazes got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Tavares. In the 5th minute of the match António Monteiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Carneiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rui Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Pereira in the 6th minute of play. Humberto Pinheiro in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Garcia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Vítor Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Ferreira during the 35th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Mazes got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Macedo. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mazes's goalkeeper Manuel Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Cruzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Pereira came free, but Rui Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Domingues's late challenge caught a Mazes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Cruzinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Domingues to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Cruzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Pereira came free, but Rui Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Artur Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Francisco Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Cruzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Pereira came free, but Rui Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mazes had won after a very even match.
