Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristóvão Nogueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes SC Barbens got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Leal. Manuel Paiva struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Américo Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Barbens. If Manuel Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Amares FC's Heitor Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Américo Torres during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Amares FC a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaspar Moutinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Barbens's Alexandre Veiga. 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Amares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Nogueira came free, but Américo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alexandre Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hélder Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Veiga came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Amares FC's Heitor Gaspar. But to his dismay, Heitor Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Heitor Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Hélder Barros made the kick off in the second half. Heitor Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Nogueira in the 65th minute of play. When Amares FC's Hélder Barros in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Barbens's goalie prevented a goal. Hélder Barros took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Veiga. Alexandre Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Américo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Nogueira in the 77th minute of the match. Américo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Nogueira in the 83rd minute of play. Cristóvão Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Macedo having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Cristóvão Nogueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Américo Macedo. The goal made the score 4-2. After 90 minutes, Vítor Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Barbens and the Amares FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Gaspar Moutinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Barbens's Alexandre Veiga didn't even have to move. The supporters of Amares FC booed when SC Barbens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Gaspar Moutinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Veiga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Vítor Ramos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. In the 96th match minute, SC Barbens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Ramos to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Barbens players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amares FC.
