The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manuel Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. João Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Espiche FC's Bruno Paredes got control of the ball when Duarte Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Duarte Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Moniz in the 17th minute of play forced Espiche FC's goalkeeper Bruno Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Pagade's João Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Lisboa in the 18th minute of play. Américo Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Paredes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Pagade's Duarte Campos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Paredes. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Lourenço Lisboa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pagade's João Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Américo Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bruno Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rui Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Lisboa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Armando Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Pagade's João Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Moura in the 35th minute of play. Bruno Paredes made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Duarte Campos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Espiche FC booed when SC Pagade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espiche FC's Bruno Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Moniz in the 46th minute of play. Américo Moniz got in the 47th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bruno Paredes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Moniz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SC Pagade's Duarte Campos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Júlio Moura came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Lisboa could save by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Lourenço Lisboa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71st minute, Nuno Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Lisboa having to interfere. After 74 played minutes SC Pagade got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Gomes. In the 76th minute Lourenço Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Duarte Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espiche FC's Bruno Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Júlio Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Lisboa in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Espiche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Campos came free, but Bruno Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Pagade had won after a very even match.
