In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Arrentella fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Rui Figueiredo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 6th match minute, Nabainhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Leal to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nabainhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Arrentella the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Nabainhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Ramos to maneuver through the defense. If Diogo Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fábio Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Leal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Diogo Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Arrentella's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sandro Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Carvalho in the 21st minute of the match. Luís Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Carvalho in the 24th minute of play. SC Arrentella's Lucas Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Lisboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basílio Veiga came out and tried to block the shot, but Diogo Lisboa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Fábio Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Costa having to interfere. Jorge Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Costa having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Basílio Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Barros in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Carvalho in the 55th minute of play forced SC Arrentella's goalkeeper Luís Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogo Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Veiga having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Melo got free with Luís Costa in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nabainhos FC booed when SC Arrentella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 67 in the game by Jorge Melo from a close distance when the talented Luís Costa managed to make a qualified save. SC Arrentella's players were relieved. Lucas Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Basílio Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Diogo Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arrentella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Lisboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nabainhos FC's Cristóvão Ramos got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Diogo Lisboa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nabainhos FC's Basílio Veiga. Basílio Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that SC Arrentella were the better team. SC Arrentella's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
