Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Gonçalo Aleixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Mendo and the Ventuzelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Mendo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gonçalo Aleixo hit a great ball. In the 10th play minute Paulo Jesus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lúcio Nascimento. 1-0. Rogério Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lúcio Nascimento came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ventuzelo FC's Paulo Jesus. But to his dismay, Paulo Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Filipe Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lourenço Machado in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Faro saved Ventuzelo FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lourenço Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Mendo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Faro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Joaquim Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ventuzelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ventuzelo FC's Joaquim Andrade in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Mendo's goalie prevented a goal. Filipe Borba might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Borba ran back to his position shaking his head. Filipe Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Nuno Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lourenço Machado made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Mendo's zone, Paulo Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Nascimento came out of the goal and Paulo Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Borba took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Faro. Nuno Faro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Joaquim Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. SC Mendo's Lúcio Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Jesus in the 70th minute of play. Óscar Cardoso's late challenge caught a Ventuzelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Óscar Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Lúcio Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Andrade in the 71st minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, SC Mendo's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Andrade came free, but Lúcio Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ventuzelo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Filipe Gomes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Lúcio Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Andrade in the 86th minute of play. Nuno Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Machado in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Andrade in the 94th minute of play forced SC Mendo's goalkeeper Lúcio Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Nascimento was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. If Filipe Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
