Filipe Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Brandim FC booed when Barcel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joaquim Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Emílio Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcel's protests and gave Emílio Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Amaral in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filipe Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Pedro Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. Armando Aleixo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Rodrigues went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Barcel's Filipe Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Costa in the 31st minute of play. After 46 minutes, Rafael Henriques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandim FC and the Barcel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Brandim FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Henriques. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Joaquim Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Cunha was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Rafael Henriques was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Rafael Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barcel's Álvaro Rodrigues got a free kick in the 69th minute. Joaquim Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Brandim FC's Armando Aleixo got control of the ball when Álvaro Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Brandim FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fernando Pires hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Amílcar Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brandim FC's Armando Aleixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Costa's late challenge caught a Barcel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brandim FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pedro Costa hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Amílcar Cunha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Aleixo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Álvaro Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Aleixo having to make a save. The Barcel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Brandim FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
