Bernardo Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Lapinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Faro. Tiago Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the game, one of Lapinhas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Moucharia a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Heitor Campos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lapinhas FC's Paulo Araújo. 0-1. A hard shot 13 in the game by Sérgio Dias from a close distance when the talented Luís Dias managed to make a qualified save. SC Moucharia's players were relieved. If Hugo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Paulo Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Lapinhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Lima came free, but Paulo Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Henriques during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Lapinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, SC Moucharia's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Barros came free, but Luís Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Barros in the 43rd minute of the match. Sérgio Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Dias having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hugo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Lima got free with Paulo Araújo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Paulo Araújo managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when SC Moucharia's Hugo Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute, Delfim Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luís Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Lapinhas FC's Sérgio Dias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Lapinhas FC's Cláudio Vale got a free kick in the 66th minute. Inácio Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Dias having to interfere. If Sérgio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Moucharia's Luís Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Barros in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Barros in the 77th minute of play forced SC Moucharia's goalkeeper Luís Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Inácio Barros notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Moucharia's Luís Dias. Luís Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lapinhas FC's Paulo Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Lapinhas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 87th match minute, SC Moucharia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Valente to maneuver through the defense. If Hugo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Araújo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Hugo Lima sent off a good shot on target. SC Moucharia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
