Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fontelas FC's Duarte Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 15 minutes of play, Reguengo's Ricardo Araújo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Reguengo got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Mota. In the 21st minute, Ricardo Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Trindade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 25 minutes into the game, Joaquim Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reguengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fontelas FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Barros got free with Hélder Dias in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Dias having to interfere. Domingos Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hélder Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogério Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-3 became the score in the 43rd minute when Ricardo Araújo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Borges got free with Afonso Trindade in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Dias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Lucas Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hélder Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fernando Ramos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Fontelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Araújo came free, but Afonso Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontelas FC. Hélder Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Amadeu Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Trindade having to interfere. Duarte Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reguengo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
