Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duarte Rocha started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SC Passarias booed when Fontelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that João Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Trindade was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Fontelas FC's Afonso Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Queirós in the 4th minute of play. João Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Afonso Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Queirós in the 11th minute of play forced Fontelas FC's goalkeeper Afonso Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Passarias booed when Fontelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If João Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Rocha in the 17th minute of play forced SC Passarias's goalkeeper Xavier Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fontelas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Leal in the 25th minute. Cristóvão Amorim hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Domingos Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 minutes, Oliveira Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Passarias and the Fontelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Fontelas FC's José Leal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Xavier Matos. Oliveira Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Xavier Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Afonso Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavier Queirós made a kick off. Xavier Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Teixeira in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Almeida got free with Afonso Trindade in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Fontelas FC's Afonso Trindade got control of the ball when João Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fontelas FC's Duarte Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Cristóvão Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Passarias getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. David Dantas hit a great ball. Xavier Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Barros's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Afonso Trindade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Queirós went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Duarte Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Xavier Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fontelas FC's Domingos Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Trindade having to interfere. Fontelas FC's Duarte Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Fontelas FC's Afonso Trindade got control of the ball when João Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
