Raul Alves started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Carrasqueiro's Sebastião Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Borba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Carrasqueiro's Bento Borba threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Nunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute of the match Ricardo Jesus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bento Borba skillfully saved the ball. If Sebastião Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, André Nunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bento Borba, 2-0. A collision led to Crastos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Artur Sousa hit a great ball. A hard shot by Hélder Leiria from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Bento Borba's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Francisco Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Crastos FC's zone, André Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Borba came out of the goal and André Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

55 minutes into the match, Carrasqueiro's goalkeeper Francisco Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lourenço Silva. After 55 played minutes Carrasqueiro got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Moura. Raul Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Crastos FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gonçalves. Sebastião Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bento Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carrasqueiro had won after a very even match.
