Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vítor Melo got the match started through his kick off. When SC Gestoso's Mário Veiga in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arrimal FC's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Arrimal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Gaspar came free, but Pedro Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrimal FC's zone, Mariano Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Domingues came out of the goal and Mariano Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Arrimal FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sérgio Neto hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Mariano Gaspar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedro Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Vítor Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Arrimal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Moreira couldn't finish the play. If Mariano Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Filipe Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gestoso's Rui Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Leite took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Dias. Rui Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Mariano Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Moreira hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Gestoso's Cristóvão Sá tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mariano Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gestoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Vítor Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrimal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Melo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Vítor Melo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Mariano Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Gestoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Mariano Gaspar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pedro Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Fernando Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Arrimal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Tavares couldn't finish the play. Rui Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Tavares in the 97th minute.
