When Balazeima's Basílio Freitas in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calvinos's goalie prevented a goal. Basílio Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balazeima's Daniel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Torres in the 17th minute of play. Basílio Freitas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Alexandre Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balazeima. In the 24thth minute of the game Basílio Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calvinos's Alexandre Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Vítor Torres made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Carneiro. Balazeima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Vítor Torres struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Daniel Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calvinos. In the 32nd minute, one of Calvinos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calvinos. Alexandre Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Basílio Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alexandre Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Assunção to strike the kick off in the second half. Balazeima's Basílio Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Calvinos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Miguel Machado hit a great ball. The nice shot from Basílio Freitas in the 57thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alexandre Sá had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Daniel Carneiro came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Calvinos's Vítor Torres. But to his dismay, Vítor Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 72nd minute José Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balazeima's Daniel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Torres in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Calvinos's José Macedo got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Assunção in the 77th minute of play forced Calvinos's goalkeeper Alexandre Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Carneiro. Balazeima's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Basílio Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alexandre Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Sá was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tiago Ramos. José Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Daniel Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balazeima's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
