In the 13th minute, Hugo Brás fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquim Coelho, passed just outside the right post. Fábio Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vale having to interfere. A collision led to Trilho FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Américo Valente hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Jorge Nunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Trilho FC's Joaquim Coelho didn't even have to move. If Adelino Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Talasnal's Rui Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Vicente Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talasnal and the Trilho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Guarda in the 30th minute of play forced Talasnal's goalkeeper Miguel Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Fábio Guarda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trilho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Trilho FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rui Luz 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Rui Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Talasnal's Hugo Brás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 46th minute, Fábio Guarda made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Vale. Talasnal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Luz to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Hugo Brás sped through Trilho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquim Coelho. In the 58th minute, Hélder Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joaquim Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Talasnal and the Trilho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Talasnal! Adelino Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vale having to interfere.
