No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Melo was the one to do the kick off. Sebastião Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. José Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, SC Vermelhos's Sebastião Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Vermelhos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty!
