Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gonçalo Torres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Tomás Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Pedro Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertino Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Montijos FC's zone, Tomás Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Amaral came out of the goal and Tomás Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rui Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miradouro's protests and gave Rui Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Miradouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Amorim to maneuver through the defense. If Luís Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Jesus in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Magalhães saved Miradouro from getting behind. If Luís Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Torres in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montijos FC's zone, Lúcio Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Amaral came out of the goal and Lúcio Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cândido Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Campos in the 44th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 49th minute by Albertino Soares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Campos was the one to do the kick off. Cândido Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Soares in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Montijos FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Almeida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Torres in the 65th minute of play forced Miradouro's goalkeeper Simão Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Montijos FC's Filipe Almeida got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tomás Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cândido Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Magalhães having to interfere. Miradouro's Albertino Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Montijos FC's Gonçalo Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simão Magalhães. That made the score 0-1 after 89 minutes of play. Montijos FC's Cândido Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Soares in the 98th minute of play. The Montijos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
