Basílio Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Paredes having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Ramilos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Paredes came free, but Miguel Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zebras FC's Amadeu Santarém got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Alves got free with Albertino Paredes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Paredes having to interfere. Amadeu Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Albertino Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Basílio Matias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Eduardo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramilos FC's Miguel Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Luz in the 35th minute of play. If Rogério Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Miguel Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zebras FC booed when Ramilos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rogério Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zebras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertino Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Alves's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Basílio Matias notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zebras FC's Albertino Paredes. Albertino Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogério Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Santarém having to interfere. When Joel Lima fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zebras FC's protests and gave Joel Lima a yellow card for diving instead. 2-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Basílio Matias elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Ramilos FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Xavier Sá hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Paredes in the 87th minute of play forced Ramilos FC's goalkeeper Miguel Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Rogério Luz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eduardo Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eduardo Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Zebras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Paredes couldn't finish the play.
