After 8 played minutes SC Loureira got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Pinto. Hugo Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mariano Neves sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Jorge Martins notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Terras's Augusto Martins. Augusto Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 minutes of play, SC Terras's Paulo Ribeiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Pacheco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes in the game, Paulo Ribeiro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. SC Terras's Fernando Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mariano Neves came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SC Terras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Neves couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Terras booed when SC Loureira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SC Terras getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gaspar Bessa hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Armando Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jorge Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Martins having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, SC Terras's goalkeeper Augusto Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Figueiredo. Armando Figueiredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Augusto Martins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute, Fernando Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Loureira's Hugo Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Neves in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, SC Loureira's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Neves came free, but Hugo Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Mariano Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hugo Pacheco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jorge Martins came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Loureira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Martins couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Martins in the 87th minute of play forced SC Terras's goalkeeper Augusto Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute of the match André Lopes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Martins skillfully saved the ball. If Paulo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Terras's Paulo Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
