Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Ferro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedrome's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Marialva the free kick. After 3 played minutes Pedrome got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Reis. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pedrome fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for SC Marialva. Jorge Garcia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adolfo Amaro. 1-0. In the 11th minute Raul Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Pedrome:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Marialva:s goal. Tomás Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of SC Marialva booed when Pedrome was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vasco Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Marialva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Magalhães couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Marialva booed when Pedrome was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Adolfo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pedrome getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Adelino Cabral hit a great ball. Raul Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Adolfo Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Adelino Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedrome's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Viana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nuno Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Pedrome fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Ferro couldn't finish the play. SC Marialva's Tomás Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Cardoso in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Raul Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Marialva! When Adelino Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedrome's protests and gave Adelino Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. Adelino Nunes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. SC Marialva's Joel Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pedrome's Adelino Nunes got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Vasco Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tomás Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Marialva's goalkeeper Tomás Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Viana in the 78th minute of play. Joel Viana struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Adolfo Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Marialva. After having played for 85 minutes, Vasco Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Marialva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Viana in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Amaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasco Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Adolfo Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Marialva. Vasco Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Amaro having to interfere. When Raul Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SC Marialva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Pereira couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Marialva had played much better football throughout.
