Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Teixeira started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Pereira in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Mário Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Carvalhinhos FC's Joaquim Abreu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Lucas Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes of play, Sarnadinha's Lucas Teixeira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Lucas Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Carvalhinhos FC booed when Sarnadinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Carvalhinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Carvalhinhos FC's Domingos Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Teixeira in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Marques in the 30th minute of play forced Carvalhinhos FC's goalkeeper Domingos Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Cruz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Paulo Marques notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carvalhinhos FC's Domingos Rodrigues. Domingos Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Paulo Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Branco was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Sarnadinha were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Pereira to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Branco was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Domingos Gomes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Paulo Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Domingos Rodrigues made a huge save. Paulo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Branco having to interfere. Domingos Rodrigues didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 85th minute, Lucas Teixeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingos Rodrigues. The goal made the score 0-4. If Lucas Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Lucas Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Sarnadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Pereira came free, but Mário Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarnadinha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
