When Manuel Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Semide FC's protests and gave Manuel Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Afonso Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Maia having to make a save. Alexandre Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Pacheco in the 9th minute of the match. Alexandre Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Miranda hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Emílio Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Maia having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Filipe Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Falgorosa's zone, Filipe Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Castro came out of the goal and Filipe Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Simões hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Filipe Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Pedro Castro to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Pacheco got free with Alexandre Maia in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandre Maia made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Emílio Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Miranda was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 58th minute, Filipe Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Cunha's late challenge caught a Falgorosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Semide FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Cunha. 80 minutes into the match, Falgorosa's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Cunha came free, but Pedro Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emílio Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Dantas's late challenge caught a Falgorosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Falgorosa booed when Semide FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Castro having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Falgorosa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
