With a left leg Delfim Aguiar saved Verdelhos from getting behind. A collision led to Arco FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Joaquim Fonseca hit a great ball. Simão Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Simão Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Aguiar having to interfere. If Heitor Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Tavares in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, David Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heitor Tavares succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verdelhos's goalkeeper Delfim Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Heitor Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delfim Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Heitor Tavares made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Verdelhos's Delfim Aguiar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Verdelhos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arco FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
