In the 3rd minute Lucas Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Antunes in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Landal's Filipe Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Sousa in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Moutinho got free with Vasco Leite in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Afonso Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Almeida went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lucas Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Pinheiro having to interfere. With a little luck, Quintela's Vasco Leite got control of the ball when Lucas Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Landal booed when Quintela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Afonso Antunes made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Afonso Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quintela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Leite having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Quintela's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Assunção came free, but Vasco Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Quintela defense, Ricardo Assunção kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasco Leite. The Quintela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasco Leite should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Afonso Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quintela's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Moura in the 80th minute of play forced Quintela's goalkeeper Vasco Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afonso Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintela's Vasco Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Assunção in the 90th minute of play. Vasco Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
