Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Oliveira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Miguel Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carnota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingos Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes SC Carritos got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Figueiredo. A hard shot by Gonçalo Barros from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got António Marques's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. SC Carnota's Bruno Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Brito in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Miguel Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of António Marques. Miguel Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Carnota's José Abreu got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Miguel Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Brito's late challenge caught a SC Carnota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Brito helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Brito hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Vítor Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. António Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Carnota. 34 minutes into the match, SC Carnota's Miguel Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Carnota's Bruno Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Martins in the 39th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Martins was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Britos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Bruno Gaspar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Miguel Oliveira scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cristiano Brito sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th match minute, SC Carnota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Carritos booed when SC Carnota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Bruno Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when SC Carritos's Cristiano Brito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bruno Gaspar was a little too slow when Sandro Martins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Miguel Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Carnota's Vítor Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Carritos's Joaquim Brito got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Joaquim Brito off the ground. After 83 played minutes SC Carritos got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Brito. The corner ended in Gonçalo Barros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Carritos's António Marques did a great save. In the 94th minute, Vítor Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
