The wind increased when Oliveira Ramos made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when André Moniz put in a rough tackle. 52 minutes into the game, one of Ferral FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Coxerro's Cristiano Trindade got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of António Gomes. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, José Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coxerro's supporters rose to their feet, but José Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Garcia in the 62nd minute of play forced Coxerro's goalkeeper Basílio Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes of play Coxerro's Luís Antunes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 63rd minute, Luís Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Rocha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pedro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Pacheco having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Luís Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Coxerro's zone, Pedro Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Pacheco came out of the goal and Pedro Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Pacheco having to interfere. David Cruz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Basílio Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferral FC. With a little luck, Ferral FC's António Gomes got control of the ball when José Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Pedro Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Raul Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Coxerro's Filipe Morais got a free kick in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Xavier Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coxerro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferral FC the free kick. The supporters of Ferral FC booed when Coxerro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ferral FC's David Cruz got a free kick in the 96th minute.
