Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Coimbra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Augusto Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Rouba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atalaia the free kick. In the 3rd minute, one of SC Rouba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Rouba. Pedro Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Joaquim Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Delfim Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Setúbal took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Porto. António Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. António Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Atalaia's Delfim Setúbal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Porto having to interfere. António Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Setúbal in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Delfim Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Delfim Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Moreira having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Sérgio Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Pedro Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Branco in the 71st minute. A collision led to SC Rouba getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Joel Abreu hit a great ball. Delfim Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Porto having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Gaspar Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SC Rouba's Pedro Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Atalaia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
