After a rather tough play, SC Touguinho's Fernando Domingues got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, SC Touguinho's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Gaspar came free, but Daniel Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Moreira in the 26th minute of play forced Almendra FC's goalkeeper Lucas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Fernando Domingues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Carneiro, 2-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Touguinho's goalkeeper Daniel Morais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute of the match Vítor Borba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Morais skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Lucas Carneiro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Touguinho's Oliveira Moreira. But to his dismay, Oliveira Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Almendra FC defense, Eusébio Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Carneiro. The Almendra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Daniel Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Pires in the 68th minute of the match.
