Carlos Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charnequinha FC's goalkeeper Oliveira Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Joaquim Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charnequinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bouro the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Charnequinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Faro to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Lúcio Rocha scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Rocha in the 28th minute of play forced Bouro's goalkeeper Inácio Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If André Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Bouro booed when Charnequinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Jesus's late challenge caught a Bouro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. Simão Jesus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Charnequinha FC's Oliveira Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Charnequinha FC from getting a goal against them. Lúcio Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Queirós having to make a save. Inácio Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Rocha in the 45th minute of the match.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Coimbra in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliveira Santos saved Charnequinha FC from getting behind. Oliveira Santos came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Bouro's Fernando Coimbra. But to his dismay, Fernando Coimbra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Charnequinha FC's Fábio Lopes got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Gabriel Silva fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bouro's protests and gave Gabriel Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bouro's Gabriel Silva got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Charnequinha FC booed when Bouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lúcio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Queirós having to interfere. Lúcio Rocha struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Inácio Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charnequinha FC. After having played for 87 minutes, Fernando Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliveira Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Fonseca in the 89th minute of play.
