Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vasco Henriques's late challenge caught a SC Salgueiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Henriques helped the player get up and apologised. Vasco Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Vicente Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moruja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gaspar Moniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Pires went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Figueiredo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Moniz saved SC Salgueiros from getting behind. Manuel Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Pacheco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Maia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Artur Resende made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SC Salgueiros's Gaspar Moniz got control of the ball when Manuel Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, SC Salgueiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Figueiredo in the 60th minute. Manuel Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gaspar Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Moruja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Resende came free, but Humberto Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Marco Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Artur Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Moruja FC's Vasco Henriques got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute of the match SC Salgueiros got a corner. Moruja FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. António Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Vicente Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moruja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Luís Pacheco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Maia. Moruja FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Pacheco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Moruja FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
