Mário Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Jorge Cruz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alberto Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavinhos FC's Alberto Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Ramos scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th match minute, Gavinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Branco to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Lombador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Lima to maneuver through the defense. When Alberto Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gavinhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Ramos couldn't finish the play. Mário Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cruz having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Fernando Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Dias was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gavinhos FC's zone, Hugo Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Cruz came out of the goal and Hugo Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Mário Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Lombador's goalkeeper Tomás Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Carvalho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Barbosa in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Mário Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Hugo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gavinhos FC's zone, Mário Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Cruz came out of the goal and Mário Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cruz having to interfere. Alberto Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lombador's Tomás Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. Jorge Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Eusébio Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gavinhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Barbosa couldn't finish the play. After having played for 86 minutes, Alberto Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavinhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Dias in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 93rd minute, Mário Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavinhos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
