Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Domingos Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosal FC's Pedro Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Teixeira during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11thth minute of the game Rui Maia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosal FC's Filipe Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes of play Rosal FC's Nuno Teixeira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 13th minute, Rui Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Failde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Filipe Castro came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Failde's Rui Maia. But to his dismay, Rui Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to SC Failde getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Carlos Gomes hit a great ball. Filipe Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lopes in the 28th minute of play. Filipe Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Filipe Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Alexandre Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bento Tavares came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosal FC's André Magalhães. But to his dismay, André Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rosal FC! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Lopes made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Failde's zone, Filipe Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Tavares came out of the goal and Filipe Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Lopes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Filipe Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Failde. SC Failde's Carlos Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Castro having to interfere. If Domingos Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rosal FC's zone, Rui Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Castro came out of the goal and Rui Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Filipe Castro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Lopes in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Failde's Domingos Lopes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filipe Castro. That made the score 1-4 after 91 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Failde walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
