The referee showed Henrique Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Meixomil getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Henrique Gomes hit a great ball. Pedro Borges struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Luís Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosal FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, André Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But to his dismay, António Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hélder Faria hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, André Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Matias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. António Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Castro having to interfere. Pedro Borges was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74thth minute of the game André Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meixomil's Luís Matias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Meixomil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gomes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Pedro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meixomil had won after a very even match.
