Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Veiga started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Martins having to interfere. A collision led to SC Fungalvaz getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Manuel Garcia hit a great ball. Nuno Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Melo in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes SC Fungalvaz got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Garcia. Afonso Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, SC Fungalvaz's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Melo came free, but Nuno Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodrigo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. António Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Garcia in the 24th minute of play. SC Fungalvaz's Nuno Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SC Fungalvaz from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Lubagueira FC's zone, Fernando Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Barbosa came out of the goal and Fernando Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Branco in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SC Fungalvaz's Nuno Martins got control of the ball when Bento Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bento Oliveira in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Martins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fungalvaz's zone, Bento Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Martins came out of the goal and Bento Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fernando Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SC Fungalvaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Veiga couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Afonso Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes, SC Fungalvaz's Paulo Gueifão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper António Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Fungalvaz reached it. Lubagueira FC's Bento Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Melo to make the kick off. António Barbosa was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Afonso Miranda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonso Miranda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. When Afonso Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Fungalvaz's protests and gave Afonso Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Afonso Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Lubagueira FC's goalkeeper António Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Branco. Lubagueira FC's António Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Lubagueira FC from getting a goal against them. SC Fungalvaz's Nuno Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 70th minute of play. Fernando Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. António Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Oliveira in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Afonso Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Rodrigo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lubagueira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rodrigo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Rodrigo Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lubagueira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fernando Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Barbosa having to interfere. Lubagueira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Fernando Veiga scored to the left of an out of position António Barbosa, making the score, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Fungalvaz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
