Tomás Ramos struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mário Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miragaia. Mário Henriques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Ramos's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Tenencia's Mário Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Borges in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Ramos in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Henriques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Tenencia getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. After 39 minutes, Filipe Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tenencia and the Miragaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miragaia's Tomás Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Ramos made a kick off. When Daniel Borges came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Miragaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Borges couldn't finish the play. Mário Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Ramos in the 55th minute of the match. Filipe Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 56 played minutes Tenencia got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Brito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Ramos in the 58th minute of play forced Tenencia's goalkeeper Mário Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Miragaia's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Leiria came free, but Armindo Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Leite, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Delgado in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Valente saved Miragaia from getting behind. If João Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrique Almeida's late challenge caught a Tenencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Miragaia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Henrique Almeida hit a great ball. Tenencia's Augusto Leite couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Miragaia. Armindo Valente came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Tenencia's João Delgado. But to his dismay, João Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 80th minute, Daniel Borges made a precise shot to the right of Mário Henriques. Tenencia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 86th minute, Tomás Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Henriques having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
