Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Resende made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, João Delgado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Freixieira's Carlos Dantas. Carlos Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Afonso Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Resende in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipe Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carlos Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match João Guerreiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mário Henriques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 minutes, Oliveira Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freixieira and the Tenencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliveira Gaspar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Mário Leiria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Dantas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Freixieira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Dantas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Augusto Leite. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Brito in the 35th minute of play forced Tenencia's goalkeeper Mário Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If João Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Tenencia's Afonso Resende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Henriques having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basílio Soares was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Basílio Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernando Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afonso Resende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Albertino Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Afonso Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mário Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Soares in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Brito got free with Mário Henriques in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Henriques having to interfere. Freixieira were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tenencia to leave the ground with a draw.
