Nuno Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Bentos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Machado came free, but Nuno Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bentos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristóvão Machado 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 29th match minute, SC Santana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 30th minute.
