Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Jesus kicked off to start the match. When Carlos Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Valonguinho's protests and gave Carlos Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes SC Valonguinho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Mendes. In the 5th minute, Alexandre Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Cabral in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Alexandre Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Cabreiro a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amadeu Leal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Valonguinho's Gabriel Lima. 0-1. Gabriel Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Jesus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When Cabreiro's Alexandre Cabral in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabreiro reached it. If Paulo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Valonguinho getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Carlos Mendes hit a great ball. If Alexandre Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes in the game, Ricardo Miranda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Jesus having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Miranda scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Jesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Cabral got free with Gabriel Lima in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ricardo Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SC Valonguinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Miranda couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Leal hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Paulo Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Valonguinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, SC Valonguinho's goalkeeper Gabriel Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Cabral. After 86 played minutes Cabreiro got a freekick which was hit by José Vale. Pedro Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Miranda in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cabreiro's Augusto Campos got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Valonguinho's zone, Paulo Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Lima came out of the goal and Paulo Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Veiga hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Cabreiro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cabreiro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
