After a rather tough play, SC Fraguas's Joel Oliveira got a free kick in the 4th minute. Adolfo Vieira hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Manuel Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jorge Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manuel Anjos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Fraguas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Anjos couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Pataeiro's Jorge Moniz got control of the ball when Henrique Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Manuel Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gaspar Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Fraguas's protests and gave Gaspar Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Gaspar Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Pataeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Anjos came free, but Jorge Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Barbosa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, SC Fraguas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Joel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee gave Gaspar Barbosa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to SC Fraguas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gaspar Barbosa hit a great ball. Joel Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Cunha having to interfere. The SC Fraguas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pataeiro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
