Trapa FC's Vasco Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Pacheco in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute David Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, SC Barrinho's Afonso Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Xavier Lima's late challenge caught a Trapa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Lima helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Gaspar Gaspar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cândido Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cândido Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Barrinho getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cândido Gomes hit a great ball. André Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Henriques in the 32nd minute of play. Vasco Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Pacheco in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Trapa FC's Manuel Moutinho got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Trapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Moutinho. Gaspar Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Armando Matias made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

David Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Anjos having to interfere. Gabriel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Mendes in the 66th minute of play forced SC Barrinho's goalkeeper Armando Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Barrinho defense, Gaspar Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Matias. The SC Barrinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Matias should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Trapa FC's Vasco Anjos got control of the ball when Gabriel Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that André Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Matias was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SC Barrinho's David Henriques got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Nuno Moutinho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. Nuno Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, SC Barrinho's Gabriel Pacheco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasco Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
