Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sérgio Cruz kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Sérgio Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Gonçalo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Pedrosa booed when Espartosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, André Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonçalo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Fontes having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pedrosa's goalkeeper Rui Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Lourenço Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. André Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Daniel Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, André Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 49th minute, Cândido Leal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Pedrosa's Rui Figueiredo didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 54th match minute, SC Pedrosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. João Cunha's late challenge caught a Espartosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Espartosa booed when SC Pedrosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Ferreira in the 62nd minute of the match. Lourenço Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rui Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Pedrosa's Rui Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Teixeira in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, SC Pedrosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Rui Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Espartosa's Sérgio Cruz in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pedrosa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Sérgio Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Rui Figueiredo. SC Pedrosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sérgio Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Figueiredo having to interfere. Rui Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pedrosa's zone, Sérgio Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Figueiredo came out of the goal and Sérgio Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
