An unexpectedly hard shot by João Faria in the 5th minute of play forced SC Benagil's goalkeeper Lúcio Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, SC Benagil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Macedo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Benagil booed when Edroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Afonso Guerreiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lúcio Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lúcio Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Faria in the 22nd minute of the match. Américo Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Benagil's goalkeeper Lúcio Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Afonso Guerreiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lúcio Nascimento, passed just outside the right post. In the 31st minute, António Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Faria in the 33rd minute. Raul Macedo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, SC Benagil's goal looked a bit too open when João Faria came free, but Lúcio Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game João Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Benagil's Lúcio Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Guerreiro in the 59th minute of play forced SC Benagil's goalkeeper Lúcio Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, SC Benagil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Afonso Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afonso Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Edroso got a freekick which was hit by António Moniz. After 77th play minutes Adelino Baptista shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Américo Gaspar and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Edroso booed when SC Benagil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Edroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Moura to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Gaspar having to interfere. João Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Edroso's Afonso Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Edroso's Américo Gaspar got control of the ball when Adelino Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line.
